My Latest Update

It's been a while since my last posting, so I have decided to update this blog.

The work in the remodel has continued to progress. The walls have been finished with paint and trim. The capret was removed from the hall and the master bathroom and the old marble tile in these ares has been repolished. They have started installing the new cabinets, are in the progress of cutting and polishing the granite for the new counter tops.

The new gas stove and oven are to be delivered this thursday, Sept 13 and the new counter tops should be installed before the weekend. The electrictians are scheduled to install the new lights and new outlets and switches.

Mom has a new job and is starting to settle in in her new job responsibilities. I have passed my 90 day probationary period at Home Depot. So its onward and upward from here.

I am including some pictures of the progress of the re-model. So enjoy.

Love You All, Grandpa Randy

The End Of The Week

Well its Sunday evening and I thought I would take a couple of minutes to catch up on my Blogging...

As you are aware the builder started the remodel on Grandma's kitchen this week. It has sure changed the way the inside looks right now, and the way it will look when the job is completed. The pictures I have attatched were taken today. (With my cell phone, so I have to apoligize for the quality). Anyway, we are cooking with the BBQ, The Camp Chef Stove and the Microwave. The major disadvantage is that we have to wash dishes downstairs in the small sink behind the bar.

If you have seen the news lately, Utah's on fire. I guess the flames followed those retired folk who moved up here from California. It sure would be nice for some rain.

I hope everybody is doing well and that the fish are biting. So long for now, Randy!!!!!

I love this..you are awesome!!!!

Your other half?

My World

I would like to thank my daughter, Marcianne, for leading out and beginning the idea of the blog for our family to keep up with her and her family's new life in New York. I have decided to follow her example and start a blog for me to update my family and friends from time to time on my activities, adventures and happenings with my life.

I invite any who may read this to join in and comment.
